Treatment for Video Installation
Content Synopsis:
A video installation about relationships, heartbreak, emotions and life.
Some of the shots will contain:
People crying
People laughing
People going crazy
Make up
Cigarettes
Flowers
Water
Bathtub
Music
Emotive music is going to be used as well in order to set a particular tone.
Aim
The aim for this video installation is for people to see and feel like me. To understand where I stand and what kind of content I enjoy doing.
The video installation is about complex emotions such as the feeling of rejection, of sadness, freedom and desire.
Duration
I aim for the video to be about 3 minutes long.
Equipment
- Tripod
- Canon DSLR
- 50 mm lense
Locations
- Parks to symbolise freedom
- Toilet to symbolise confinement
- Road to symbolise time passing by
- Room to symbolise loneliness
I chose these locations not only because they look good but also because when watching the video, it will portray certain things that people might not notice (like referred to above).
Target audience
14 to 50+ due to the fact that that is between those ages people either start having relationships, are in one, or have been in one.
